The next-generation super exosome 'PTT-6,' which has overcome the limitations of existing exosomes through an R&D investment of approximately 50 billion KRW, is officially launching in Korea.
On the 7th, stem cell-based bio-specialist 'CellResearch' announced that it has been invited to the '2025 Korean Academy of Laser, Dermatology and Trichology Spring International Academic Forum' (KALDAT), Korea's largest medical device and aesthetic conference to be held at COEX in Seoul on the 11th. There, the company will present clinical results for the Super Exosome 'PTT-6,' which is capable of caring for hair loss, skin regeneration, and even intractable chronic wounds.
CellResearch also plans to unveil 'CALECIM,' a hair loss and skin regeneration solution based on PTT-6, for the first time.

According to the company, PTT-6 is a Super Exosome independently developed by CellResearch. It is an effective active ingredient successfully commercialized by extracting 99% ultra-high purity, high-content Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) from Red Deer Umbilical Cord Lining. It boasts superior purity, content, and composition compared to existing stem cell sources, recording the optimal extraction purity (99%) and extraction yield among known stem cell sources. It is known that the yield of bone marrow MSCs currently adopted in the market is only 63%.
The company explained that PTT-6 is characterized by its excellent ability to promote tissue regeneration, suppress inflammation, and inhibit immune rejection. It is not a single extraction component but a complex in which over 3,000 types of components—including anti-inflammatory cytokines, exosomes, growth factors, peptides, fibroblast-activating proteins, and microRNAs—are concentrated in an optimal ratio.
At this conference, Dr. Ivor J. Lim (pictured), Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of CellResearch and co-developer of the PTT-6 technology, will give a special lecture on the topic: 'Mechanisms of Hair Loss and Skin Regeneration using Cord Lining Stem Cell Culture Exosomes: Global Clinic Clinical Results and Treatment Cases.'

'CALECIM,' supplied by 'Keynstone,' is a regeneration solution using PTT-6 as a core raw material. Within four years of commercialization, it has entered hospitals and aesthetic centers in over 40 countries worldwide, including the US, China, and Canada. Clinical results showed that standalone use of 'CALECIM' increased dermal papilla cell proliferation by 24%, showing statistical results (efficacy) similar to the hair loss treatment 'Minoxidil.' Additionally, it was found to reduce scalp inflammation by 30-fold, increase the number of active follicles by 15%, and improve total hair count by 14%. The company stated that with no reported side effects, it is also highly popular for hair loss treatment in women taking contraceptives, those of childbearing age, and those undergoing menopause.
At this conference, CellResearch, together with the domestic supplier 'Keynstone,' plans to hold a clinical campaign providing 1,000 sets of 'CALECIM Clinical Test Kits' (Hair, Skin) free of charge to medical staff and officials. The 'CALECIM Clinical Kit' contains a quantity sufficient for tracking and observing product efficacy for up to 12 weeks. Clinical guidebooks and domestic/international clinical data reports will also be provided for use in the medical field.
Starting with this conference, 'Keynstone' plans to establish clinical partnerships for the Super Exosome 'PTT-6' with major large hospitals and dermatology, plastic surgery, and hair loss clinics nationwide. They will expand customized protocols according to patient conditions and conduct various marketing promotions in parallel.

줄기세포 기반 바이오 전문기업 '셀리서치'는 오는 11일 서울 코엑스에서 열리는 국내 최대 규모 의료기·미용학회 '2025 대한레이저피부모발학회 춘계 국제학술포럼'(KALDAT, 이하 대피모)에 초청 받아, 탈모, 피부재생, 난치성 만성 상처까지 케어할 수 있는 슈퍼엑소좀 'PTT-6' 임상 결과를 발표한다고 7일 밝혔다. 셀리서치는 PTT-6 기반 탈모·피부재생 솔루션 '칼레심'도 처음 공개할 예정이다.

회사 측에 따르면 PTT-6는 셀리서치가 독자개발한 슈퍼엑소좀(Super Exosome)으로, 붉은사슴 제대막(Cord Lining)에서 99% 초고순도 고함량 중간엽줄기세포(MSC)를 추출해, 배양 상용화에 성공한 유효 활성성분이다. 기존 줄기세포 소스 대비 순도와 함량, 성분이 뛰어나며, 현재까지 알려진 줄기세포 소스 중 최적 추출순도(99%)와 추출 수율을 기록하고 있다. 현재 시중에 채택되고 있는 골수의 MSC 수율은 63%에 불과한 것으로 알려졌다.
PTT-6는 단일 추출 성분이 아닌 항염 사이토카인, 엑소좀, 성장인자, 펩타이드, 섬유아세포 활성 단백질, 마이크로 RNA 등 3,000여종의 복합성분이 최적 비율로 농축돼 있어, 조직 재생 촉진과 염증 억제, 면역 거부반응 억제 능력이 뛰어난 게 특징이라고 회사 측은 설명했다.
이번 학회에서는 셀리서치 최고의학기술책임자이자 PTT-6 기술 공동개발자인 '아이보 림'(Dr. Ivor J. LIM, 사진) 연구소장이 'Cord Lining 줄기세포 배양 엑소좀을 활용한 탈모 및 피부 재생 매커니즘: 전 세계 클리닉 임상 결과와 치료 사례'를 주제로 특별강연을 한다.
아이보 연구소장은 △PTT-6의 당뇨성 족부 궤양, 압박성 궤양(욕창), 창상 치유, 심한 습진 등 난치성 만성 질환 임상결과 및 치료 사례 △40개국 이상 병원과 클리닉에서 진행한 임상결과 및 치료 사례 △탈모 및 피부재생 메커니즘 △의료기 및 디바이스와 결합한 PTT-6 임상결과 △PTT-6 기반 탈모·피부재생 솔루션 '칼레심'(CALECIM)을 발표할 예정이다.
'키앤스톤'이 공급하는 '칼레심'은 PTT-6를 핵심원료로 한 재생 솔루션으로, 상용화된지 4년 만에 미국, 중국, 캐나다 등 전 세계 40개국 이상의 병원 및 미용센터에 진출했다. 임상 결과, '칼레심' 단독 사용만으로도 모낭유두세포 증식이 24% 증가하는 등 탈모치료제인 '미녹시딜'과 유사한 통계적 결과(효과)가 확인됐고, 두피 염증 30배 감소, 활성화된 모낭 수 15% 증가, 총 모발수가 14% 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 보고된 부작용도 없어 피임, 가임기, 갱년기 여성 탈모치료에도 인기가 높다고 회사 측은 밝혔다.
셀리서치는 이번 학회에서 의료진 및 의료관계자를 대상으로 '칼레심 임상 테스트 키트'(헤어, 스킨) 1,000세트를 무상 제공하는 임상 캠페인을 국내 공급원인 '키앤스톤'과 개최할 예정이다. '칼레심 임상 키트'는 제품 효능을 최대 12주 간 추적 관찰이 가능한 분량이다. 임상 가이드북과 국내외 임상 데이터 리포트도 제공해 의료현장에서 활용할 수 있도록 했다.
'키앤스톤'은 이번 학회를 기점으로 주요 대형병원과 전국 피부과, 성형외과, 탈모 클리닉과 함께 슈퍼엑소좀 'PTT-6' 임상 제휴를 맺고 환자 상황에 따른 맞춤형 프로토콜을 확대하며, 다양한 마케팅 프로모션도 병행할 예정이다.
